Hi, I’m Joni — a proud Jamaican woman who has made the world her home. I’ve traveled to over 40 countries and lived in five, each one leaving an unforgettable mark on my journey.
For me, travel isn’t just a holiday — it’s an expression of curiosity, a way to connect with people, and a reminder that we are far more alike than we are different.​
My wanderlust began early — in first grade, when I left Jamaica for a school trip to Grand Cayman. That first adventure opened my eyes to the beauty of discovery and the joy of exploring beyond the familiar.​​
While I don’t have a single favorite country, one that truly surprised me was Fiji. Driving around the island of Viti Levu, I was amazed to see how many people looked like me — a reflection of shared heritage and unexpected connection in the most beautiful corners of the world.
